# WWE Star Reacts To Kazuchika Okada Joining AEW

With Kazuchika Okada signed to AEW and making an appearance on the March 6 Dynamite, WWE’s Bronson Reed has reacted to the latest signing.

Okada’s signing was [officially confirmed](https://wrestletalk.com/news/major-free-agent-chooses-aew-over-wwe-kazuchika-okada/) last night, with the Rainmaker joining The Elite.

It all started with a rather disturbing GIF shared by Reed on Twitter showing a headless man in a suit and tie drumming his fingers on what appears to be the rails of a theatre box as if he’s waiting for something to happen.

The tweet, which prompted a reply from a fan, can be seen below this news story.

A fan noted that the new AEW signees feared another WWE star entirely, tweeting:

*“Okada and Ospreay are scared of Oba Femi”*

Bronson’s reply to this claim returned to the focus on to himself, [tweeting](https://twitter.com/BRONSONISHERE/status/1765575610628550847):

*“You spelled Bronson wrong.”*

Reed was released from WWE in August 2021 and would appear at NJPW Battle in the Valley in November of that year under the name JONAH.

Before his return to WWE in December 2022, he would engage in a number of matches against Okada, frequently teaming with Bad Dude Tito and Shane Haste as TMDK.

He beat Okada during the 2022 NJPW G1 Climax, but his last match against Okada would take place in October 2022 in a losing effort at NJPW Declaration of Power, marking the end of his in-ring time with the company before returning to WWE a couple of months later.

Reed recently revealed that he was set to appear at the Perth, Australia ‘Elimination Chamber’ PLE but “[plans changed](https://wrestletalk.com/news/bronson-reed-statement-wwe-elimination-chamber-father/)” due to Seth Rollins’ injury – the timing did work out though with Reed’s wife having their baby earlier than anticipated.

Ospreay signed with AEW at Full Gear in November 2023 and made his roster debut at AEW Revolution on March 3.

The reaction to his match against Konosuke Takeshita was positive, with a number of ‘[stars from the past](https://wrestletalk.com/news/aew-will-ospreay-revolution-praise/)‘ being ‘very impressed’.

Kazuchika Okada was [confirmed as being All Elite](https://wrestletalk.com/news/major-free-agent-chooses-aew-over-wwe-kazuchika-okada/) on the March 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
