Top Star To Produce New ‘WWE Recruits’ Docuseries

John Cena has been announced as a producer for a new ‘WWE: Recruits’ documentary series.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, the new series will air on the Roku Channel, and focus on a group of man and women hoping to become WWE Superstars.

Per this report, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H will feature in the docuseries, as will Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

Discussing the series, Cena noted the following to the Hollywood Reporter:

“Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE Superstar

“I am so excited to bring WWE: Recruits to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality.”

Cena also took to Twitter to comment on the announcement, writing:

#WWE, much like life, is not about the heights of success, but the journey to get better each day.
