WWE Stars Reference AEW All Out Media Scrum In CM Punk ‘Birthday’ Message

WWE Stars Reference AEW All Out Media Scrum In CM Punk ‘Birthday’ Message WWE, AEW

A pair of WWE stars made reference to the infamous AEW All Out 2022 press conference in an early birthday message to CM Punk.

Since returning to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 last November, CM Punk has spent a lot of time with the company’s next crop of talent rising through the ranks in NXT.

Perhaps the two stars Punk has become the most synonymous with are Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez, with the three being pictured together on many occasions.

In a new post to his Instagram story (see below), Punk shared a birthday message sent to him on what appears to be a napkin.

Coming a whole month before his actual birthday on October 26, Jade and Perez referred to Punk as ‘dad’ and wished him a happy 100th birthday, a slight exaggeration on his actual age of 45.

Jade and Perez packed the napkin full of illustrations including his beloved dog Larry, a birthday cake, balloons and of course a muffin.

While the appearance of the muffin could be interpreted as a reference to AEW All Out 2022, there was also a direct quote from Punk at the event’s press conference at the very top of the napkin.

The quote reads:

“I’m old & tired & I work with children.”

Punk would add a caption to the birthday message, writing:

The kids are alright when they’re not brats (I am not 100)

Interestingly Jade and Perez are not the first WWE stars to make sure a reference to Punk’s All Out 2022 comments, with the Second City Saint’s bitter rival Drew McIntyre also doing so earlier this year.

Punk takes on McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood on October 5 inside Hell in a Cell.
