The wrestling return appearance of Tegan Nox (Nixen Newell) following her WWE release has now been pulled from an upcoming independent event.
Nox was one of three stars who was recently revealed to be finishing up with WWE, with it reported on November 1 that she had been released from the company.
The former WWE Raw star was later announced for ATTACK! Pro Wrestling’s December 14-15 ‘Under The Mistletour’ shows.
ATTACK! have now announced that Nox will no longer be appearing at these shows. The promotion thanked WWE for its support in trying to make these appearances possible.
ATTACK! shared the following statement:
We’re sorry to announce that unfortunately Tegan Nox AKA Nixon Newell will no longer be appearing at our Under The Mistletour events in December.
We know this news will be disappointing to the ATTACK! community, especially those who have made travel plans for the show. Our fans are the heart of ATTACK! and we’re sorry to let you down.
We’re already looking into suitable replacements for the shows, and hope to bring Nixon back to ATTACK! In 2025. However, refunds are of course available on request.
We’d like to thank WWE for its support over the past several weeks in trying to make these appearances a possibility.
Initial reports indicated that Nox would’ve had a 90-day non-compete clause, meaning that unless she has permission from WWE, she won’t be able to compete for another promotion until she becomes a free agent in late-January.
