Outside Companies Showing Interest in Released WWE Star

Details have emerged on interest already surrounding a now-former WWE star who departed the company during the latest round of cuts.

News emerged on Friday (May 2) of 15 in-ring talents being released by WWE.

Main roster stars let go by the company included Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and Dakota Kai.

Fightful Select now reports that Dakota Kai already has gained the interest of “outside companies” and top wrestling agents. Kai is reportedly expected to have plenty of offers.

Kai hasn’t wrestled since the March 24 WWE Main Event taping, and last wrestled on Raw during the March 17 show. She defeated Ivy Nile in both of these matches.

She recently addressed her absence, confirming that she’s not currently injured.

Dakota Kai has now addressed her WWE release, sharing the “Ah s**t, here we go again” meme.

Kai’s boyfriend NXT star Eddy Thorpe, formerly known as Karl Fredericks, is also one of the names that have been released by the company.
