Released WWE Star’s New Job Revealed WWE

Former WWE SmackDown commentator Kevin Patrick has secured himself a new role in the world of soccer, hosting MLS 360.

Well-liked in WWE, Patrick’s tenure with the company came to an end in late January 2024, with Sheamus praising the commentator.

Major League Soccer has now revealed that Patrick, under his real name of Kevin Egan, will be joining MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

According to the announcement of the broadcast teams for the 2024 MLS season:

MLS fans can tune-in for dedicated studio programming to preview weekly matchups, dissect key moments, and hear compelling stories from around the league all season long.

The popular live whip-around show MLS 360, which provides live look-ins from every match alongside expert analysis and discussion, will be available in Spanish for the first time beginning in 2024.

MLS 360 in English will be led by new host Kevin Egan, who previously served as a game play-by-play announcer.

Egan will be joined by returning accomplished studio talent and renowned professional soccer players Sacha Kljestan, Kaylyn Kyle, and Bradley Wright-Phillips.

It had previously been reported that Egan was “liked personally” in WWE but was “not the right person for the role” that he occupied.

Egan had previously been a sports commentator for Major League Soccer and was announced as their play-by-play announcer in January 2023 during his time with WWE.

He joined WWE in 2021 and had been a commentator on Raw up to October 2022 before moving to SmackDown until his release on January 23, 2024.
