After the latest slate of talent cuts, released WWE star Emma Diaz has issued a statement on her departure from the company.
On May 3, WWE announced a series of NXT releases, which included former Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak.
Also included in this list of released stars was Emma Diaz. Despite not making any appearances on the weekly WWE TV shows, Diaz starred in the WWE Next Generation series that airs on Roku.
Following her release from the promotion, Emma Diaz took to social media to issue a statement on her departure. She wrote:
I am very proud of and grateful for my time at WWE NXT. Having been trained by the best the business has to offer.
Thank you @WWENXT
I would like to announce that I am now accepting independent wrestling bookings!
There’s only one speed, and that’s mine #WWENextGen
The names released from WWE today also includes: Ezekiel Balogun, Julian Baldi, Trey Bearhill, Valentina Feroz, Keyshawn Leflore, Darrell Mason, Vlad Pavlenko, Kiyah Saint and Boa.
