WWE has released an ECW themed cold open for tomorrow night’s episode of WWE NXT at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT is set to take place on Wednesday instead of the usual Tuesday, with the show airing from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
The 2300 Arena was the former home of ECW, and WWE has loaded up the ECW nostalgia for the show, including appearances from Bubba Ray Dudley, Rob Van Dam, Dawn Marie and Francine.
Ahead of the show, WWE has now released a new ECW-themed opening video for the show, which you can see below.
The show will feature Bubba Ray Dudley teaming up with NXT Champion Trick Williams to face off against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland in tag team action.
Also on the show, a huge ten-woman tag team match will take place, pitting Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, Zaria and TNA’s Jordynne Grace against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade and Fatal Influence.
The show will air head to head with this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
