Former WWE star Daniel Bryan is reportedly being removed from current projects that the company is working on.
It’s unknown exactly what they are, but Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live that they could be video game-related or something like that.
Alvarez said:
“I’m not sure if it’s a video game or what it is, but one of these projects that involves, obviously the wrestlers in WWE, they were alerted today that this person, this person, this person, this person is no longer with WWE and one of the people they mentioned was Daniel Bryan. Realistically he’s not with the company. That is also an indication that at this point, take him out of whatever project, because he’s out of the company.”
Bryan’s WWE contract legitimately expired after his loser leaves SmackDown match with Roman Reigns, and there’s no word on what his next move will be.
WWE has started mentioning him on TV a lot lately which led to some speculation, but that’s apparently not an indication of anything and just ties into the Roman Reigns/Edge storyline.
