WWE Reportedly Doesn’t Have Final Plan For Extreme Rules Stipulation

At The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is going to defend his title against former tag team partner, Dolph Ziggler.

In a promo a few weeks ago on Raw, McIntyre said that he was so confident of beating Ziggler that he’d let the “Showoff” choose the stipulation for their title match at the pay-per-view.

Ziggler has said that he won’t reveal the stipulation on tomorrow night’s pay-per-view, so he goes into the match with the biggest advantage, but it may actually be for a completely different reason.

Ringside News is reporting that despite the show taking place tomorrow, WWE has not yet finalised the stipulation match they want Ziggler and Drew to have tomorrow night:

“Ringside News has learned that as of late this week the company was still batting around ideas for that WWE Title match stipulation. Dolph Ziggler teased that he has something in mind that no fan has seen before, but in reality, he doesn’t even know what it is yet.”

Taking to Twitter, Ringside News founder Steve Carrier had the following to say about the stipulation match this Sunday:

“Ready for more “extreme” Extreme Rules news? We’ve been told that despite Ziggler boasting that WE’VE NEVER SEEN a stip like he’s picking against Drew… the company still hadn’t officially landed on an idea as of a day ago. Yep.”
