WWE/AAA
WWE has reported the record-breaking success of AAA TripleMania XXXIII on Saturday, August 16.
AAA’s biggest event of 2025 had a far different feel this year, being the first TripleMania the promotion has held since WWE announced the acquisition of the company during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
With Raw, SmackDown and NXT stars featuring throughout the card, the show streamed live on both WWE and AAA’s official English and Spanish YouTube channels – and according to a new report from Deadline, WWE have touted the show as record-breaking success.
According to WWE, TripleMania drew more than four million viewers within its opening 24 hours, with the peak concurrent audience being 614,000.
As well as high viewership numbers, TripleMania set a new all-time gate record for AAA, with 19,691 attendees watching live at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
The next WWE and AAA collaboration will come on September 12 with Worlds Collide in Las Vegas, NV.
As confirmed today, Dominik Mysterio will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship at the event – seeking retribution after AJ Styles cost him during the main event of TripleMania XXXIII.
