WWE Star Responds To Shots Fired By AEW’s Kenny Omega WWE/AEW

Xavier Woods and Kenny Omega have got into a back and forth on Twitter, with the WWE star wanting a phrase making illegal.

Omega has been absent from the AEW ring since December 2023 due to potentially life-threatening diverticulitis.

It was recently reported that he is “training with moderate intensity” for an in-ring return, though wouldn’t be “back any time soon”.

The former AEW World Champion is currently in Japan and has recently caught up with Katsuhiro Harada, the Executive Game Director of the Tekken video game franchise.

Sharing a photo for the renowned name, Omega found himself on the receiving end of comments from Xavier Woods who initially tweeted:

“But does he know that you are ass at Tekken?”

Omega responded to the comment with a GIF of AJ Styles and the message:

“Stop living in the past. You beat me in Tekken 7 once. Maybe twice.

“Where was this confidence when I was giving you that digital enema in SFV?”

Woods would have a response for this, taking issue with the term “digital enema”, writing:

“Ok 3 things

“Says stop living in the past and then brings up an even older moment…

“DIGITAL ENEMA should be an illegal phrase. I know you’re at home but some of us have jobs we are trying to keep!

“If you so bad then get your goofy ass back to the states & come run the set!”

At the time of writing, Omega hasn’t reacted to the suggestion, although we could see him on a future episode of UpUpDownDown on YouTube to settle the score.

Tekken 8 was released in January 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S and Windows PC.

Elsewhere in video gaming news, AEW’s Samoa Joe was spotted in the trailer for the new Like A Dragon game.
