A report emerged this week stating that FOX Sports want to make Smackdown feel superior to AEW by the time the blue brand’s show lands on the network later this year. In an attempt to do so, FOX want celebrities to appear on the first show.
The sports network allegedly requested that WWE tried to get Donald Trump, the President of the United States, to appear on the premiere episode.
However, Brad Shepard of the “Oh, You Didn’t Know Wrestling Show” has since taken to Twitter to say that a WWE representative has responded to the initial report and said it was “completely false”.

While Donald Trump might be a WWE Hall of Famer and an appearance from the President on Smackdown would certainly garner mainstream attention on the product, it certainly would be controversial and divide opinion.
