WWE NXT star Meiko Satomura has now confirmed the date for her retirement match, 30 years on from her in-ring debut.
It was revealed in July that Satomura planned to hang up her boots for good in 2025.
While a specific date wasn’t confirmed at the time of that report, it was noted that several people close to Satomura indicated that her plans were for her retirement match to take place in Spring 2025.
It has now been confirmed that Satomura will wrestle her final match on April 29, 2025, with Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling sharing a graphic for a show called ‘Satomura The Final’ on this date.
Satomura shared this graphic to Instagram with the caption:

Satomura’s final opponent hasn’t yet been announced.
While Meiko Satomura is technically still with WWE, she hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since unsuccessfully challenging for Roxanne Perez’ NXT Women’s Championship on the March 23, 2023 NXT episode.
She wrestled on several shows during WWE’s Japanese tour in July, notably challenging for Bayley’s WWE Women’s Championship on July 27 in Tokyo.
She has since competed on a number of shows in Japan, most recently wrestling Takumi Iroha to a time-limit draw at the October 27 Marvelous event.
