WWE Star Addresses Potential Return After Seven Months Away

WWE Star Addresses Potential Return After Seven Months Away WWE

Former Raw Tag Team Champion Omos says he is ready to use what former WWE Champion AJ Styles taught him.

Omos has been absent from WWE television, having not competed in a match since April 2024.

Prior to his recent absence, the gigantic star was regularly featured on the company’s programming. He was a former Raw Tag Team Champion alongside AJ Styles and was aligned with MVP as well.

Appearing on a Patreon exclusive Q&A for Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Omos was asked about the evolution of his character. On wanting to use what he learned from AJ Styles and MVP, he said:

“I think it’s evolved a lot. I started off as AJ’s heater and then went on to do my own thing. Then I got a manager with MVP. He was kind of like my Bobby Heenan in that type of way,”

“I think now I’m ready to be on my own and stand as a performer by myself. I’ve learned so much from both of them.”

“With AJ it was figuring out the basics as a performer, knowing how to be a giant. Then MVP was like understanding how to have presence in the ring and just the little things differentiates — for example knowing how to sell in a way that doesn’t feel robotic.”

“MVP pointed out to me like, ‘Hey, you want to make it feel more natural when you sell,’ just the little intangibles. I’m giving me the mic, he’ll cut his promo as a heel, and then he would give me the mic, like, ‘Finish it off.'”

“Getting the comfort of speaking out in front of the crowd. All the house shows that I did last year, I think that actually helped me a lot in my growth and I think going forward, I am ready for whatever is thrown at me.”

Bobby Lashley recently alleged that some WWE names “tried to get Omos fired,” which you can read more about at this link.
