Potential Change For Returning WWE Star Revealed

An update has emerged on AJ Styles’ WWE future, following the Phenomenal One’s return at Royal Rumble 2025.

Styles made his in-ring comeback in the Royal Rumble match, entering in the #21 spot after almost four months away from the ring.

With Styles seemingly teasing rivalries with several stars, there has been some speculation about what’s next for the former WWE Champion.

Per PWInsider Elite, There was talk over Royal Rumble weekend about Styles potentially moving over to the Raw brand.

Styles is still listed as a SmackDown star on WWE.com as of writing.

AJ Styles last wrested for the blue brand on the October 4, 2024 episode, where he unfortunately suffered a lisfranc foot injury which caused his match against Carmelo Hayes to be stopped.

This bout was intended to be Styles’ return bout, with the popular star having been off WWE TV for four months at that point too.

Styles was eliminated from the Royal Rumble match by Logan Paul, fuelling rumors that he could soon enter a rivalry against the current Raw star.
