A WWE star has teased their return to the ring, noting that it’s comeback season amid their absence from TV.
Bayley hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since being attacked backstage ahead of WrestleMania 41 Saturday.
With the Role Model unable to compete on WrestleMania 41 Sunday, a returning Becky Lynch filled in, teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
This alliance was short-lived, with Lynch and Valkyria losing the gold on Raw the following night, and Lynch attacking Valkyria, turning heel.
With Lynch admitting that she was the one who attacked Bayley, the absent star has now shared a nod to Lynch amid her absence.
Bayley took to Twitter to share a gym photo to her Instagram story, which you can view below.
She captioned this post:
Comeback season baby.
Interestingly, Bayley attached Becky Lynch’s Celtic Invasion entrance theme, hinting that she has her attacker on her mind.
As was previously reported, Bayley is not legitimately injured, and this storyline involving her being written off WWE TV had been planned for some time ahead of WrestleMania 41.
Lynch unsuccessfully challenged for Lyra Valkyria’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Backlash, brutalizing the champion after the bout.
