Returning WWE Star Turned Down Personal Locker Room

WWE star Natalya has revealed that a returning star turned down having their own locker room, so they could change everyone else.

Nikki Bella made her return on the July 9 Raw episode, having a confrontation with Liv Morgan before ultimately being laid out by the Women’s Tag Team Champion.

While Nikki Bella’s return was touted as a big moment ahead of the show, it has now been revealed that the Hall of Famer turned down a special perk offered to her by WWE.

Speaking with the Toronto Sun, Natalya noted that Nikki Bella turned down having her own personal locker room, to instead change with everyone else.

Natalya noted:

“They wanted to get Nikki her own locker room, they were like ‘We’re going to get Nikki Bella her own room, she’s going to have her own space, we’ll put a fruit tray in there.’

“She goes, ‘No. I don’t want to change in my own locker room,’ this is what I love about Nikki, she goes ‘I want to change with the rest of the girls.’ She’s like ‘I want to be in the locker room with the rest of the girls because that’s the most special place to be, it’s about being with the girls,’ so she was in the locker room with us.

“It was so fun because she was in the locker room. The girls just loved seeing her, it was just like she was right back in the groove, she hadn’t missed a beat. That’s the thing that people don’t see behind the scenes of what we do, it’s a sisterhood.

“We don’t all have to love each other, we don’t all have to get along 24/7, but at the end of the day, we’re a group of women that really love and respect each other and Nikki understood that.

“She didn’t want her own room, she wanted to be with us, and I loved that and I made sure that she looked perfect before she went out.”

It appears that Nikki Bella will be regularly appearing on WWE TV for a while, with the former Divas Champion indicating that she’ll be at the June 16 Raw event.
