Two former WWE stars want to have “one last hurrah” with WWE, addressing the possibility of a return to the company.
Matt and Jeff Hardy made a brief return to WWE through its NXT brand earlier this year, notably defending the TNA Tag Team Championship against Nathan Frazer and Axiom at the March 11 NXT Roadblock event.
During an interview on the Ariel Helwani Show, Matt Hardy revealed that he and his brother are hoping for one final main roster run with the company.
When asked if they’d be happy to end their careers in TNA Wrestling, Matt Hardy responded:
“Maybe. I think we do want to do the WWE Hall of Fame. I think we would like maybe one last hurrah with WWE, and that could even be possible while working with TNA too, so we’ll see.
“I mean, it would be nice to still have the most limited schedule we could have, which would optimize the amount of time we can spend at home with our families and kids, but yeah, everything’s kind of up in the air right now.
“We both feel good and I think we’re going to rock and roll as long as we feel like we can do it.”

Matt and Jeff Hardy are set to face Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz, AJ Francis & KC Navarro of Fir$t Cla$$ and champions Nic & Ryan Nemeth in a four-way ladder match for the TNA Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary.
Matt Hardy previously hinted that he and Jeff Hardy may retire if they don’t win this match.
