Former WWE Star ‘Getting The Itch’ For In-Ring Return

A former WWE star has revealed that they have been getting the itch to wrestle following work on recent projects.

While Danielle Moinet – fka WWE’s Summer Rae – hasn’t had an official match in three years, she has been working on Hollywood projects which required some wrestling.

Speaking with The Wrestling Classic, Moinet noted that Chavo Guerrero – who she has been working on these projects with – told her that she still has it in the ring.

Noting that she has been getting th itch, Moinet said:

“I’ve been getting the itch a little bit. I’ve been doing some projects in Hollywood that require some wrestling, and so Chavo Guerrero recently told me that I still have it, and I’m like, ‘Chavo, don’t say that!’

“He also gave me a Guerrero shirt, and I wear it now, and I feel like I’m one of them.”

Moinet hasn’t wrestled an official bout since appearing in the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble match.

This Rumble appearance was her first in-ring outing since October 2019.

Moinet signed with WWE in November 2011 and remained with the company up until her release in October 2017.
