Former WWE Champion To Return At Upcoming PLE?

Plans for WWE Evolution have seemingly been confirmed, and a former champion has teased that they could be returning.

Recently, it was reported that an announcement of the second-ever all-women WWE PLE would be made imminently.

The report stated that WWE Evolution would be announced on Monday, April 7, with a reported date of July 5.

Nikki Bella has now teased potential involvement in something that “people are gonna be excited” that will be taking place in July.

Speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show, she would discuss future plans with Brie Bella, saying:

“There’s gonna be a really big announcement that people are gonna be excited for in July which I’m dying…you know what I’m talking about.”

Brie would respond with a “No” before Nikki went on to ask her sister:

“July, what am I in?”

This would lead to Brie catching on as to what her sister meant, asking:

“Oh yes. Do you have to wait until then?”

Having managed to not specify anything beyond something taking place in July, Nikki would respond:

“Well, I’m sure. I don’t know.”

While the duo didn’t ever confirm that they were talking about Evolution, this has been heavily speculated to be the case, following Nikki Bella’s recent return teases, and previous involvement with Evolution in 2018.

The 2018 WWE Evolution event was headlined by a Raw Women’s Championship match, with Ronda Rousey defeating Nikki Bella in what remains Nikki’s last televised one-on-one match.

Having competed in this year’s WWE Royal Rumble, Nikki Bella teased a possible return for the twins at WrestleMania 41.
