Former WWE Name Comes Out Of Retirement At Non-Wrestling Event WWE

A former WWE name returned to announcing for one night only, stating that they came out of retirement for an evening.

Following former ring announcer Samantha Irvin’s WWE exit in October 2024, Irvin revealed that she didn’t enjoy announcing, and hoped that it’d only be a way in for her to get another role in the company.

With the musician seemingly putting her announcing career to bed, Samantha Irvin returned to the mic for the Las Vegas Raiders’ second annual Silver & Black Gala at Allegiant Stadium.

Irvin took to Instagram to share photos from the event, calling it a once in a lifetime experience to introduce Stevie Wonder at the gala which raised money for mental health services in the area.

Calling this her return from announcing retirement, she captioned her post:

Came out of retirement for an evening to introduce the GENIUS that is Stevie Wonder! What a surreal, once in a lifetime experience.

Thank you @raiders, The Raiders Foundation, & @themarc85 for having me, and for a WONDERful evening to support Mental Health. ❤️

The former America’s Got Talent semi-finalist has been re-establishing herself as a musician, notably releasing a music video for her song Shawty Wanna in April.

Irvin has confirmed a musical collaboration with a top AEW star, which you can read more about right here.
