Former WWE Stars To Reunite Tag Team For First Time In Almost Three Years WWE

Two former WWE stars are set to reunite their tag-team and return to the ring at an event during WrestleMania 41 week.

With a number of independent events taking place ahead of WWE’s show of shows on April 19 and 20, more non-WWE matches are being announced for these Las Vegas shows.

The in-ring returns of Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee – formerly WWE’s Billie Kay and Peyton Royce – have now been announced, with the team previously known as the IIconics set to compete at the April 17 Prestige Wrestling event.

Announcing the in-ring reunion of the IInspiration, Prestige Wrestling shared the following on Twitter:

McKay and Lee haven’t wrestled together in almost three years, last teaming during the Countdown To Rebellion 2022 event to unsuccessfully challenge for Madison Rayne & Tenille Dashwood’s TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

With both ex-WWE stars welcoming children into the world in the years since, the upcoming match will be McKay’s first since the aforementioned TNA Wrestling event, and Lee’s first since October 2023, following her brief run with World Series Wrestling.

Cassie Lee last wrestled at the October 13, 2023 WSW Full Throttle event, teaming with Harley Cameron to defeat Charli Evans & Jessica Troy in tag-team action.
