A WWE Hall of Famer has reacted to a pitch for a reunion and return match against a current tag-team, after expressing interest in an in-ring comeback.
Michelle McCool recently expressed interest in wrestling at the upcoming Evolution pay-per-view, noting that she’d love to reunite with Layla in the ring at some point.
This fuelled speculation on social media, leading to WWE’s Natalya responding to a post pitching a McCool & Layla vs Natalya & Maxxine Dupri match for the July 13 all-women’s premium live event.
Natalya replied:
“I would love a LAYCOOL reunion!!!!! It’s time!!!!!”
Michelle McCool re-shared Natalya’s post, indicating that she’d be up for having this match, writing:
“I mean…..if you & Maxxine get too big for your britches, happy to come settle your tea kettle🫖🫖”

Michelle McCool last wrestled in the 2023 Royal Rumble match. Her last match that wasn’t a Royal Rumble or battle royal took place at Extreme Rules 2011, losing to Layla in a Loser Leaves WWE match.
She will join her husband The Undertaker as a coach for season two of WWE LFG, which will premiere on Sunday, June 22.
The Undertaker has addressed rumors about him potentially joining the WWE creative team, which you can read more about right here.
