Top WWE Star Returns On SmackDown Before Clash At The Castle

Top WWE Star Returns On SmackDown Before Clash At The Castle TV Insider

A top WWE star returned to end the final episode of SmackDown before Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland.

In the SmackDown main event today, Kevin Owens took on Solo Sikoa of the Bloodline, who had Paul Heyman at ringside with him.

Prior to the match, Sikoa threatened Heyman that if Sikoa didn’t win tonight, it would Heyman who would feel the brunt of his frustrations.

This led to a very animated and emotional Heyman throughout the match, and in a rare move for Heyman, actually getting physically involved as he lifted Sikoa’s foot onto the bottom rope at one point to break up a pin attempt from Owens.

Eventually, after Owens got frustrated with Heyman and confronted him, Sikoa took advantage of the distraction and nailed Owens with two Samoan Spikes for the win.

After the match, Bloodline members Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga got into the ring, attacking Owens, and Sikoa soon joined them.

They were about to triple powerbomb him through the announce table for the second consecutive week, which is when Randy Orton made his return for the save.

Orton had been absent from WWE TV since May 25 when he was defeated by GUNTHER in the King of the Ring tournament final.

He managed to help fight off the Bloodline as he and Owens stood tall in the ring to close SmackDown.
