Former WWE Star Teases Return Nine Years After Departure WWE

A former WWE star teased a potential return to the company after being released from their contract in May 2016.

The former “Cameron” was a competitor on Tough Enough and Total Divas cast member during her tenure in WWE.

Released in May 2016, the former Funkadactyl has now teased a further return to the company.

Recently, the real-life Ariane Andrew shared footage showing her undertaking in-ring training having had her last wrestling match in April 2024.

The footage, which can be seen below this news story, was shared on her Twitter account, along with the caption:

The post was accompanied by a photo of Andrew in black and silver ring gear, very much suggesting a return is imminent.

While “Cameron” did return for the WWE Royal Rumble in 2022, this one-off appearance lasted just 51 seconds, with Sonya Deville eliminating her in under a minute.

Cameron was one half of the Funkadactyls, alongside Naomi who has carved out her own path in WWE over recent years.

While the pair wouldn’t hold tag team gold, Naomi has gone on to be a three-time Women’s World Champion, most recently winning the title at Evolution.

Naomi is also a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, holding the title with Sasha Banks prior to legitimately walking out of the company in May 2022, and more recently with Bianca Belair.
