A former WWE star has shared his first comments since his return on NXT as part of the ongoing partnership with TNA Wrestling.
The main event of the June 3 NXT episode saw Trick Williams defend the TNA World Championship against Mike Santana.
Santana wasn’t the only TNA Wrestling name to appear on this show, with the First Cla$$ duo of KC Navarro and AJ Francis showing up to cost Santana the match.
Francis has now taken to Twitter following his WWE return to share an image with comments from the TV show The Wire.
The image noted:
“I want you to put the word out there that we back up.”
Francis had two stints with WWE as Top Dolla, first joining WWE in January 2020 and being released in November 2021.
He returned to the company in August 2022 under the Triple H regime, before being released once again in September 2023.
With Trick Williams retaining the TNA World Championship, he will next defend the gold against former WWE star Elijah (fka Elias) at TNA Against All Odds on June 6.
