WWE Star In-Ring Return Update After Two Years Away

WWE Star In-Ring Return Update After Two Years Away WWE

WWE star MVP has provided an update on his upcoming treatment and return to the ring following confirmation that he hasn’t retired.

MVP recently addressed his almost-two year long wrestling hiatus, clarifying that he hasn’t retired from in-ring action.

The former US Champion has now taken to Twitter to share a video ahead of him travelling for stem cell therapy.

Hopeful that he will soon make a wrestling return to have his last matches, he said:

“Alright kids, here we go. Flight to Cancun, Rejuv Stem Cell.

“It’s the beginning of a new chapter, the beginning of a hopefully new chapter of my jiu-jitsu life, getting my body back together so I can compete again and be healthy on the mats.

“And maybe the beginning of my final chapters of professional wrestling.

“See if I can get my last matches in before I finally hang up the boots for good.”

MVP hasn’t wrestled since the July 18, 2022 edition of Raw, during which he and Omos faced off against Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford of the Street Profits.

His last appearance on WWE TV was when Omos appeared in the Andre The Giant memorial battle royal before WrestleMania.

MVP captioned the video:

Here we go!!! Heading to Cancun for stem cell treatment at @rejuvstem so I can get back on the mats AND, into the ring. 1 last run? Let’s see…

Another WWE star recently had stem cell therapy during their injury hiatus, which you can read more about right here.
