Former WWE Star Returning For Upcoming Show Update

An update has emerged on a former WWE star being brought in for Worlds Collide, with the returning name’s role on the show revealed.

It was recently reported that some notable names will be in Los Angeles on June 7 for WWE Worlds Collide, a show featuring talent from WWE and AAA.

PWInsider reported that in addition to Lince Dorado, Savio Vega is also being brought in for this weekend’s show.

More details have now emerged on plans for Vega at Worlds Collide, per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Per Meltzer, Savio Vega is set to be a backstage producer at the show.

Addressing the possibility of Vega making an onscreen appearance, Meltzer said:

“I do not know if he will appear before people, but it’s not like he’s (there) interfere or do anything…

“Well, maybe he will, but, Savio Vega is a producer for the show, so it’s not necessarily that he’s a performer for the show, but he is going to be there. I mean, that’s part is accurate.”

Lince Dorado – who has re-joined WWE as a trainer earlier this year – has now been announced as a replacement for Joaquin Wilde, who has been pulled from Worlds Collide.

Dorado will team with Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro against the AAA trio of Mr Iguana, Aero Star and Octagon Jr.
