WWE’s Rey Mysterio Reacts To Dominik Mysterio Choosing Liv Morgan Over Rhea Ripley

Rey Mysterio has reacted to his son Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley and siding with Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam.

Rhea Ripley was finally able to get her hands on Liv Morgan at the August 3 premium live event, with the Nightmare challenging for the Women’s World Championship in her first match since suffering a shoulder injury in April.

In the closing moments of the match, Dominik Mysterio stopped Ripley from striking Morgan with a chair, seemingly to prevent Ripley from getting herself disqualified.

Dominik then proceeded to throw the chair into the ring and distract the referee long enough for Morgan to hit Ripley with an ObLivion onto the foreign object, allowing the champion to retain her title.

Solidifying his allegiance with Morgan, Dominik Mysterio kissed the Women’s World Champion following the bout, and left the arena with her.

Dirty Dom’s father Rey Mysterio has now taken to Twitter to comment on WWE’s Instagram post about the kiss heard around the world.

Believing that Dominik is a master of betrayal, Rey Mysterio wrote:

This wasn’t the only Judgment Day betrayal which took place, with GUNTHER defeating Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship following an assist from Finn Balor.
