Astounding Numbers Revealed For WWE SmackDown Segment

A segment from the March 24 episode of WWE SmackDown has done astoundingly well since it was released on the official YouTube channel.

On the Friday night episode, Dominik Mysterio continued to antagonise his father and delivered some ill-chosen words to his own mother that would see Rey Mysterio finally set a match between the pair at WrestleMania 39.

The popular video footage from this encounter can be seen below this news story.

The video was released on March 25 and has, at the time of writing, achieved more than 2,450,000 views, being listed as “#35 on Trending”.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics provided insight into the performance of the video on his own Twitter account.

Thurston stated that:

“YouTube video of the Rey-Dominik angle from Friday’s Smackdown has flown way ahead of anything else published on WWE’s channel in the last 7 days.”

As can be seen from the graph, it has outpaced the Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa segment that was posted from the same week’s episode of WWE Raw.

That video, which was released on March 21, currently stands at just over 1,698,000 views.

The Rey and Dominik Mysterio video would outperform the second most viewed video from last week’s WWE SmackDown, being a Top 10 Friday Night SmackDown Moments compilation video that was released on March 25, with Dominik as the thumbnail and currently sitting on over 1.1m views.
