Rey Mysterio Reunites With Legendary Former WWE Rival

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has called former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio “one of his favorite opponents of all time.”

Kurt Angle is highly regarded as one of the greatest in-ring workers to ever step foot in the squared circle.

Throughout his legendary career, Angle put on countless classic encounters with a litany of all-time greats that are considered some of the best matches of all time.

On December 7, Kurt Angle took to social media to share a photo of himself and Rey Mysterio together at a fan signing. Calling Mysterio one of his favorite opponents of all time, Angle wrote the following caption:

Hanging out with one of my favorite opponents of all time… @reymysterio Love ya Rey!

Angle famously faced Mysterio in a memorable opening bout at WWE SummerSlam 2002.

Mysterio is currently still active in wrestling and on the WWE Monday Night Raw roster as part of the LWO stable.
