WWE
An update has emerged regarding the real-life relationship between former WWE on-screen partners Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio.
Ripley and Mysterio were one of the top acts in WWE before the decision was made to have Mysterio turn on Ripley in favor of siding with Liv Morgan last year.
During their time together in Judgment Day, Ripley and Mysterio clearly built a bond together that still seems to be present to this day, despite the on-screen switch-up.
Their social media activity has largely matched up with their on-screen split as well, as they’ve shown no signs of ‘breaking character’ and being seen together, or even being seen saying anything nice to each other.
However, over the past couple of days, fans noticed that they had been liking each other’s Instagram posts for the first time in a while.
Also, there was a post from the My Story Tattoo Studio in Brussels, Belgium that showed Ripley, Grayson Waller and an unnamed “friend” getting tattoos together when they were in the city for Raw recently.
Fans very much believe the friend here is Mysterio, as despite him not being named in the caption, he is actually tagged in the post and shared photos from the same tattoo studio separately.
He’s also known to ride with Waller and Austin Theory on the road, so it makes sense that Waller, Ripley and Mysterio would be together to do something like that.
Ripley, Mysterio and Damian Priest already have matching tattoos they got during their time in Judgment Day.
Whether it’s connected or not, on TV, Dominik Mysterio has recently been showing signs of dissension with current Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor, with Mysterio believing they should bring in a new member to replace the injured JD McDonagh, and Balor very much rejecting the idea.
