WWE Faction Splitting Up With Brand Switch After WrestleMania 39? WWE

The result of a WrestleMania 39 match could be leading up to a popular WWE faction splitting up on television.

The Judgment Day has been a presence on WWE television since April 2022, when Edge recruited Damian Priest before adding Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor to the collective in the months that followed.

While Edge may have been ejected from the stable in June 2022, the numbers have grown with the addition of Dominik Mysterio.

All this action has taken place on WWE Raw, although there have been an occasional trip to SmackDown thanks to Dominik’s feud with Rey Mysterio.

At WrestleMania 39, Edge would overcome the Demon Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell match that featured an introduction from The Pope’s Exorcist star Russell Crowe.

It’s another match on the card, however, that could indicate that Judgment Day are splitting up.

Rhea Ripley took on Charlotte Flair on WrestleMania 39 Night 1 in a match that made WWE history.

Ripley would defeat Flair to become the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.

While Ripley may have become a WWE Grand Slam Champion, her future in Judgment Day, and the future of the stable itself, has yet to be discussed.

The issue of course being, with all four members of the group officially on the Raw brand, whether Ripley will have to move away to SmackDown.

It could be that the whole group could switch brands, or they’ll just continue appearing on both shows anyway, since WWE’s brand split isn’t always adhered to, especially recently.

With Triple H responding to criticism of the Roman Reigns victory by referring to the new chapter in the “finish the story” motif, perhaps WWE will give us the answer on the Monday March 4 episode of WWE Raw.

Highlights from Ripley vs Flair can be seen below this news story.
