WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has opened up about whether or not he wants one last match – and his answer may surprise you.
Flair had his ‘official’ retirement match at the Ric Flair’s Last Match event in July 2022, where he teamed up with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to face Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.
However, the Nature Boy is notorious for breaking his retirement and returning to the ring, having famously ‘retired’ on several prior occasions including during an infamous match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26.
Flair has also hinted that the likes of Ricky Steamboat returning to the ring have made think about stepping between the ropes one more time.
Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Flair addressed the likelihood of once again returning to the ring:
“I don’t know why they keep saying I’m begging for another match. What I have said to you repeatedly is I wish I could redo that match.
“I’m not begging for another match. I don’t want to wrestle again. I have no desire. I wish I had that match to do over again is what I’ve said repeatedly.”
Ric Flair will make his onscreen WWE return on the January 23 30th Anniversary edition of WWE Raw.
