An injured WWE star has been confirmed for their first appearance after their contract expiry, which takes place next month.
Ridge Holland is currently sidelined with an injury and underwent successful surgery on his affected foot.
Amid his absence from in-ring competition Holland also recently confirmed that WWE will not be renewing his contract when it expires on November 14, 2025.
With his contract expiring in two weeks, Holland’s first post WWE appearance under his real name of Luke Menzies has now been confirmed.
Salvatore Wrestling Promotions confirmed, in a post on Instagram, that Menzies will be at GCW Dream On Fan Slam on November 22.
The Fan Slam runs from 10am to 2pm, ahead of that evening’s GCW Dream On at the American Dream complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
With the WWE star rehabbing from foot surgery, he has also recently revealed that he may require an additional surgery on his neck.
It was recently reported that Holland took a pay cut when he agreed to his previous contract extension, with much of last year seeing matches on NXT and its live show circuit.
Holland’s last two matches saw him compete in NXT, with a loss to Mike Santana followed by the match that saw him suffer an injury against Moose.
WrestleTalk wishes Ridge Holland well in his recovery from both injuries.
