New WWE Ring Announcer Revealed WWE

The new WWE ring announcer for Friday Night SmackDown has been revealed, following Lilian Garcia’s role change.

Following the March 14 SmackDown episode in Barcelona, Spain, Lilian Garcia announced that she had finished up as the full-time SmackDown announcer.

With Garcia now only set to announce for quarterly Saturday Night’s Main Event shows, we now know who will take over on the microphone on the blue brand.

Mark Shunock – who served as a host for the Vegas Golden Knights NHL team, and an announcer for Top Rank Boxing – has confirmed that he is joining Friday Night SmackDown.

Announcing his new role, and new name, Mark took to Twitter to write:

Stepping into a new ring with @WWE.

Thrilled to join Friday Night SmackDown.

Mark “Nash” will see you tomorrow night at @TheO2.

As referenced by Mark ‘Nash’, the March 28 SmackDown episode will emanate from the O2 Arena in London, England.

Lilian Garcia recently discussed her SmackDown departure, noting that WWE wanted to give her a meaningful final show.
