WWE/AEW
A former WWE name who recently parted ways with the company is set to reunite with a current AEW star and fellow Hall of Famer.
As previously reported, Brian ‘Road Dogg’ James recently left WWE, with the contents of his annual review being cited as a contributing factor.
A past co-head writer of WWE SmackDown, Road Dogg is now set for two upcoming appearances, one of which will see the New Age Outlaws reunite.
Great Lakes Wrestling has confirmed that The Road Dogg Jesse James will reunite with ‘Bad Ass’ Billy Gunn for GLCW Blizzard Brawl on December 5.
Fans won’t have that long to wait for Road Dogg’s next appearance following his WWE departure, however, with the Hall of Famer confirmed for both Diamond Championship Wrestling’s Synergy event and Squared Circle Expo VI later this month.
Diamond Championship Wrestling wrote in an announcement on Facebook:
“OH, YOU DIDN’T KNOW?!”
Fresh off his departure from WWE, Brian Armstrong, formerly known as the Road Dogg Jesse James, is COMING TO DCW.
The legendary member of D-Generation X, WWE Hall of Famer, and multi-time tag team champion will be joining Diamond Championship Wrestling at the next taping of DCW Synergy.
For decades he has entertained crowds around the world with one of the most recognizable voices in wrestling history… and now he’s stepping into Bullet Bob Armstrong Memorial Arena — “The Bullet” — named in honor of his father, wrestling legend Bullet Bob Armstrong.
What will he have to say?
Who will he cross paths with in DCW?
And what does his arrival mean for the future of the company?
All will unfold live at DCW Synergy.
Ahead of the March 27 & 28 event at the Wyndham Indianapolis West, the official Squared Circle Expo Instagram account confirmed:
