What Happened At WWE ‘Roast of WrestleMania’ WWE

The Roast of WrestleMania took place on April 20, and some details of what went down at the comedy show have now emerged.

An “out of the box” project, The Roast of WrestleMania was announced as a non-televised event taking place on April 20 at the BleauLive Theater in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel.

Hosted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, the previous report noted that the show would feature WWE stars.

Details of what went down at The Roast of WrestleMania have now emerged online, though no footage has been seen at the time of writing.

With attendees seemingly without their mobile phones or other internet-enabled devices, WrestleVotes noted the following via Twitter:

2 hours of jokes that included some sexual puns and F bombs.

Paul Heyman stole the show.

Triple H ended the night with a surprise appearance.

Linda McMahon was in attendance.

Others who spoke included R-Truth, Miz, Sami Zayn, Pat McAfee, Braun Strowman & Nia Jax.

Don’t hold your breath for this to ever make air.

Elsewhere, Wrestlingnews.co also provided an insight into what fans who didn’t attend the show missed, tweeting:

The WrestleMania Roast was f**king awesome.

Paul Heyman was incredible. R-Truth needs to do this again. Sami Zayn killed it. Tony Hinchcliffe had everyone rolling.

That was so much fun. Cell phones were put in pouches for good reason lol. I doubt this makes it to TV. Sh*t was wild.

The assessment would be followed up by another Tweet, revealing that Nia Jax, Braun Strowman, The Miz and others were also on the show, reading:

Nia Jax was good too. Braun Strowman was nuts. Miz seemed a little nervous but did good. Fluffy was too nice but still fun. Pat McAfee was high on weed like many of us. Triple H was great at the end.

A great time. Go next year if you missed it.

At the time of writing, there’s no indication that the show was recorded in any form, suggesting it’ll never see the light of day beyond recollections from attendees.
