What Happened With The Bloodline On Tonight’s WWE SmackDown (May 26) WWE

Is this really the end of the road for the Bloodline? According to Sami Zayn, not only is the Bloodline over, it is all Roman Reigns’ fault.

In a powerful set of segments on tonight’s pre-taped edition of WWE SmackDown, the epic Bloodline saga continued to unfurl in fascinating ways.

As the show initially featured a backstage segment featuring Paul Heyman informing the Usos that they wouldn’t be attending Night of Champions but were invited to Reigns’ 1000th Day Celebration on next week’s SmackDown as his historic reign continues.

When Jimmy expresses displeasure and desire to leave and stands, Roman Reigns attempts to command him to sit back down however he will not.

While Roman gets in Jimmy’s face to taunt him, remind him that he was willing and able to “whoop” him just as he had when they were younger, Uso didn’t back down.

The situation is only diffused after Jey gets involved to usher Jimmy away in reversal of role from past dynamics that saw Jey the target of Roman’s rage.

Later in an in-ring Kevin Owens show segment, the pair of Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champs declare that it is the ‘Kevin and Sami Show’ tonight as they summon the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

Instead however, Paul Heyman appears to begin to tell the pair that Reigns refuses to join them until he is interrupted by Jimmy and Jey Uso.

While a war of words ensues, Owens is sure to compliment the Usos and note that while Roman claims to be the head of the table, clearly Jimmy and Jey are the heart of the Bloodline.

Things take a turn when Jimmy utters a shocking phrase, getting riled by Owens to the point that Jimmy declared when it comes to the Usos, “I am the Head of the Table!”

This summons Roman Reigns as his theme music starts, much to the chagrin of Paul Heyman who could be seen telling the Usos as much as Reigns came to the ring.

However Owens and Zayn are hardly intimidated as according to Sami, the Bloodline is over!

With Sami telling Roman:

“Roman, you know it’s over right? The Bloodline is collapsing and it’s all your fault.”

It was at this point that Reigns went after Zayn but instead walked right into a Stunner from Kevin Owens and a full melee ensued.

With eventually the Bloodline gaining the upper hand, the segment ended with continued tensions within the dynamic with Jimmy having had refused to hand over one pair of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships in a tense moment.

With Jey eventually interfering as a go between, the episode of SmackDown ended with Roman Reigns standing tall, literally holding all of the Undisputed Tag Team Championship belts.

Was it an ominous sign of what is to come by the end of WWE’s Night of Champions?
