Seth Rollins has now responded to Roman Reigns’ claim that he’d want the Tribal Chief’s current deal.
After 10 years on the main roster, Reigns transitioned into a part-time role last year. While still being presented as WWE’s top star, Reigns is only contracted for a limited number of dates per year.
The Tribal Chief recently argued that anyone in the WWE locker-room would take his deal if they could, singling out Seth Rollins to Ariel Helwani with BT Sport:
I love my setup. They can all say what they want, every single one of them would take my deal if they could get it but they just can’t get it. They’ll get a big fat ‘no’ and there’s nothing they can do about it.
They can say what they want. Seth, any of them. Seth would take my deal, he would take my dates. He’d love to get my money but it’s not for him. It’s the Tribal Chief setup, that’s just the way it is.
Rollins has now taken to Twitter to address Reigns’ claim.
Sharing BT Sport’s post about Reigns’ comments, Rollins simply replied:
‘Half right and dead wrong’
Reigns and Rollins notably made their main roster debuts together in November 2012, alongside Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) as The Shield.
Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Sunday.
Rollins recently argued that he should be in the main event spot this year, not Cody, because of his commitment to WWE.
