Roman Reigns has opened up about the possibility of following in The Rock’s footsteps with a movie career of his own.
Reigns has been in movies before, including playing Meteo Hobbs along Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in 2019’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
He also has a role in the upcoming Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson vehicle The PickUp which is set to be released by Amazon MGM Studios.
During a recent appearance on SI Media with Jimmy Traina, Reigns discussed whether he could be heading to Hollywood, saying:
“I’ve said this before, there’s so many tools and skills that I’ve built and learned along my way in WWE that it would probably be a waste if I didn’t somewhat transition and use those skills.
“I don’t know if I’d want to go to the same length as Dwayne (Johnson) or even John (Cena). Dave (Bautista) is very busy as well, he seems to have a little more balance in the way he conducts his schedule maybe. But you can tell he wants to be that guy, too.
“If I’m gonna make movies I want to make really good movies, I want to be a part of really good stories. I want to work with a really good crew, directors and production teams that know what they’re doing. People I can learn from, I want to work with other experienced actors.
“I don’t have an ego, so one of my things is I want to be able to work with people that know what they’re doing and bring something great to the table as well that I can take with me, steal a couple pages from their playbook and we can all make some great money together. But I don’t feel the need to oversaturate that or do too much in that space.”

With Paul Heyman now back in WWE and having brought CM Punk back with him, Reigns would share his thoughts on The Wise Man.
CM Punk will team with Roman Reigns, The Usos and Sami Zayn to take on The Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30.
