Last night, Charlotte Flair became the first ever eight-time WWE Women’s Champion, even using her ‘Figure Eight’ finisher to secure the win over former title-holder Asuka.
Following the match, Flair took to Twitter to celebrate her accomplishment. She also took the time to express her gratitude to the ‘Empress of Tomorrow,’ announcing her as “the most talented woman [she has] ever shared the ring with.”
This one means a lot. #8. Thank you @WWEAsuka; The most talented woman I’ve ever shared the ring with. ? ?? pic.twitter.com/f8tnk8HmIo

Very few in the locker room seem to share Flair’s excitement over the victory, however, with Lacey Evans, Nia Jax, and Dana Brooke all sharing their opinions on their respective Twitter accounts:
Looooorrrddd what in tarnation just happened #SDLive

Of course, the one time Lacey didn’t make a walk down to the ring, this happens.

Nia, remember you’re a heel.
Hmmmm ? really?
— Dana Brooke WWE (@DanaBrookeWWE) March 27, 2019
Yes, really.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a Charlotte Flair news story without mention of ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch. And with this being based on Twitter, Lynch couldn’t help but just be amazing as always:
She did less to earn that title shot than the Wrestlemania one. Asuka deserves so much better.

There goes Charlotte with her empty, corporate ‘empowerment’ speak again. As long as you're the only one who's empowered though, eh Char? https://t.co/d78BkwknBx

Flair seems to be brushing all the negativity off, however, posting a follow-up tweet in response to all the noise:
— Charlotte Flair (@MsCharlotteWWE) March 27, 2019
There was at least one person other than the ‘Queen’ herself who was happy to see this though:
Congratulations @MsCharlotteWWE !!! You Are The Greatest Ever! 8x!! WOOOOO!
