WWE Star Addresses Royal Rumble Win Pitch From Creative

A WWE star has addressed the unique pitch for them to win the Royal Rumble match, which was previously revealed on Unreal.

With the first season of WWE Unreal giving a behind the scenes look at the months leading up to WrestleMania 41, some of the creative discussions for the Royal Rumble matches were revealed.

During one episode, one writer suggested that Chelsea Green could enter at number 30 and essentially win by default, with all other 29 participants already eliminated.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Chelsea Green noted that she thinks this is a good pitch, and would like to see WWE use it, even if not for her.

Noting that she wasn’t aware of this pitch before it aired, Green said:

“God bless Ed. I wish he never said it. I wish it never aired, because now it won’t happen, that’s my thought.

“When I watched it, I didn’t know that. Everything that you saw in Unreal, we’re not told these things. I thought that was such a good idea. I hope that they use it.

“Well, for me, yes, but if not on me, we need a Carmella to come back and do that. You know what I mean? Somebody with some spice, a Billie Kay, someone funny, who really would take that.”

Royal Rumble 2026 will emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 31.
