Controversial Released WWE Star Returns In Royal Rumble Match WWE

A controversial WWE star who was previously released by the company has returned in tonight’s (January 28) Royal Rumble match.

Entering the Women’s Royal Rumble match and seemingly returning to WWE (informed by the number of times she shouted, “I’m back!”) a controversial star has returned.

Nia Jax is back in WWE as she entered the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble at number 30.

The only WWE star to ever compete in both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches in one night at the 2019 event returned although not for long.

After making a dramatic entrance, she was eliminated relatively quickly after suffering a vicious Rip Tide from the eventual winner, Rhea Ripley.

Also joining the women’s Royal Rumble match tonight, another WWE star returning to television after an absence with a brand new to WWE gimmick.

And another formerly released star also popped back up in the Royal Rumble match albeit very briefly. You can read about that by clicking here.
