Oba Femi Predicted To Win Royal Rumble By Former WWE Wrestler WWE

NXT’s Oba Femi has been pitched as one of two names to win their respective WWE Royal Rumble matches later this month.

This year’s Royal Rumble takes place on January 31 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is set to see the return of the titular men’s and women’s match.

While participants for either match are yet to be declared, CJ Perry has recently pitched the winners from both the male and female roster of potential entrants.

Speaking on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Perry was asked who she would pick to win the men’s Royal Rumble match, naming NXT’s Oba Femi as her choice, saying:

“I actually think Oba (Femi). I can see it. I mean, his stats are insane. I was looking up his height yesterday: he’s 6’6” and 300 lb of solid muscle. It’s insane.

“These are the people I want to be searching for (during her manager role). He’s young, he’s jacked, and he’s so athletic. I think he has a high chance to debut and win.

“Of course, I want Rusev to win, but if Rusev can’t win…”

The interview would also see Perry reveal that she is planning a return to the wrestling world, noting she is looking for her next star.

Perry would also weigh in on the winner of the women’s Royal Rumble match, naming Liv Morgan as her pick and noting her continual reinvention, stating:

“I think that Liv Morgan is going to win the Royal Rumble. She’s fast. She’s talented. She trains… she has a professional ring in her backyard, in her barn.

“And, also, she’s very conniving and scheming, and that’s why I think she’s so great and iconic. Did you not see what extent and means she went to, to win the title back from Rhea (Ripley)?

“She has all these people kind of working for her now – The Judgment Day – and so I really think that if she plays her cards right, she’s more than capable of winning.

“I absolutely see Liv Morgan as champion by the end of the year.

“I think if WWE is smart, they’ll have Liv Morgan win.”

Oba Femi recently faced Cody Rhodes at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, with Triple H going on to address the future of the NXT stars who appeared on the show.

This week’s episode of NXT saw Oba Femi vacate the NXT Championship, following his victory over TNA Wrestling’s Leon Slater.
