WWE star Jey Uso has revealed what was going through his head when he won the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
Main Event Jey’s victory was arguably the most shocking moment of the entire night, with the former WWE Intercontinental Champion last eliminating John Cena to punch his ticket for WrestleMania 41.
While this moment surprised many WWE fans, Jey has now revealed how he felt immediately after eliminating the 16-time world champion.
Speaking on Nightcap, the WWE star recalled his expletive-filled inner monologue, revealing that at the time he was thinking:
“Oh s**t. Oh s**t. I’m sitting in the ring, and I’m telling you, when I pushed him off, I just watched him. Oh s**t. Oh s**t. I won the Royal Rumble.”
Main Event Jey ultimately wrestled in the Royal Rumble for 37 minutes, eliminating Cena, Sami Zayn and WWE US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on his path to victory.
Jey Uso has indicated that he intends to once again challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his headline WrestleMania 41 match.
Current champion GUNTHER has now reacted to Jey Uso’s WWE Royal Rumble match win, which you can read more about right here.
