The WWE Royal Rumble returns on February 1 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the hometown of NBA star Tyrese Haliburton.
Haliburton is no stranger to WWE, having escorted Logan Paul to the ring for his match against LA Knight on the June 28 episode of SmackDown.
He also appeared on an episode of NXT recently.
Reports have noted that WWE is expected to feature both Haliburton and Jalen Brunson on future shows when it works for each of them.
Footage from Haliburton and Brunson’s appearance on WWE SmackDown can be seen below this news story.
With the WWE Royal Rumble heading to Haliburton’s hometown, he was recently asked if he would be at the PLE.
Landon Buford asked about the possibility of the NBA star hosting WrestleMania and whether he would appear at the Royal Rumble, Haliburton said:
“You might see it. I can’t tell you everything, but you might see me at the Rumble.”
