According to a new report from Fightful Select, some within WWE are expecting that a sale could be coming soon.
Per the report, sources within the company expect for “business to pick up” after WrestleMania 39 this coming weekend.
Also noted in the report, that the choice of venue for this weekend’s festivities may have not been by happenstance.
With upcoming bidding for media rights partnerships coming to the forefront in WWE, the Los Angeles locale for the ‘Grandest Stage of them All’ is said to have been viewed favorably.
Several sources telling Fightful that “having WrestleMania in Los Angeles around the time of a potential sale and rights fee renewals was a positive strategic situation for the company.”
While elsewhere in the report there are mentions of Disney and Comcast as potentially interested buyers still doing their due diligence, earlier today financial experts batted around additional names.
