Former WWE broadcaster Kayla Becker (Kayla Braxton) has revealed whether or not she would’ve been interested in replacing ring announcer Samantha Irvin.
Irvin shocked many on October 21 by announcing that she was finishing up with WWE.
Another star who recently parted ways with the company was Kayla Becker, who left the company at the end of June.
In an interview with Triggered Warning, Becker was asked about the possibility of her replacing Samantha Irvin on the mic.
Noting that she’s not interested in the ring announcer role, Becker said:
“Do you know how much I hate ring announcing? Absolutely not. You know how that job is? Ring announcing is the most underrated job ever in the history of wrestling. It’s so difficult.
“It’s very stressful, and it makes your voice hoarse. So, no. I am not interested.”
Samantha Irvin recently admitted that she didn’t enjoy ring announcing and wanted a different WWE role, which you can read more about right here.
